LIST OF PRACTICAL SKILLS TO MODULE №1

ON OPERATIVE SURGERY AND TOPOGRAPHICAL ANATOMY

for medical faculties № 1, 2, 3 and international faculties


TO BE ABLE:

  1. Choose from the set of instruments a surgical scalpel and define
    the kinds and working position in a hand.

  2. Choose from the set of instruments a surgical scissors, identify
    the type and working position in a hand.

  3. Choose from a set of instruments a forceps, identify the type, working position in a hand.

  4. Choose from the set of instruments a pincers, identify the type, and show working position in a hand.

  5. Choose from the set of instruments a surgical hooks, identify the type, and show working position in a hand.

  6. Choose from the set of instruments a needle-holder, identify the type, and show working position in a hand and ability to expose and to close the lock of the needle-holder.

  7. Choose surgical needles from the set of instruments, identify the type and setting.

  8. Execute layer-by-layer disconnection of soft tissue and name elements of the

wounds.

  1. String a simple (woman) knot by a finger and apodaktyl methods and how to apply it.

10. String a sea knot by a finger and apodaktyl methods and how to apply it.

11. String surgical knot by a finger and apodaktyl methods and show the application.

12. Choose the best choice of necessary stitch material for imposition of stitch on a skin and muscle.

13. Demonstraite on the cadaver the temporal stop of bleeding in the wound by press on the isolated vessel.

14. Demonstraite on the cadaver the final stop bleeding in the wound by the ligation of the vessel, fixed by forceps.

15. Impose two stitches of simple knotty seam on a skin.

16. Show the technique of imposition of the simple continuous seam on the cadaver

17. Show the technique of imposition of the blanket seam on the cadaver.

18. Show the technique of imposition of the mattress seam on the cadaver.

19. Show the technique of imposition of the cosmetic seam on the cadaver.

20. Show the technique of removal of the simple knotty seam on the cadaver.

21. Designate projection of output of the terminal branches of the trigeminal

nerve on the face.

22.Designate the places of determination of the pulse on the facial and

superficial temporal artery.

23. Designate the projection of the duct of the parotid salivary gland.

24. Designate the projection of the branches of the facial nerve.

25. Designate the projection of cuts at an abscess in brain part of the head.

26. Designate the projection of cuts in the lateral region of the face at the purulent inflammation processes.

27. Designate the projection of cuts at the phlegmons of the parotid salivary gland.

28. Define the bordes of the trepanation of the Chypo’s triangle .

29. Define the bone, muscular and cartilaginous reference points of the neck on the cadaver.

30. Define the bordes of the triangles and regions of the front department of the neck on the cadaver.

31. Designate the projection of cut for baring main vascular-nervous trunk of the neck.

32. Designate the place of determination of the pulse on a common carotid artery.

33.Define topography-anatomic signs allowing to distinguish an external carotid from internal carotid.

34. Designate the projection of cut for baring of the external carotid artery and

ground the level of its bandaging.

35. Designate the place of pierce and direction of the needle at the neck

for Vyshnevskii’s vagosympatetyc blockade.

36. Designate the projection of cut at upper tracheotomy (tracheostomy).

37. Designate the projection of cut at lower tracheotomy (tracheostomy).

38. Designate the projection of collar cut at access to the thyroid gland.

39. Designate the projection of cut at the phlegmon of submandibular region.

40. Designate the projection of cut at conicotomy.

41. Define bone-muscular reference points of the thorax on the cadaver.

42. Designate the place of and direction of needle at implementation of punction of pleural cavity concerning an exudative pleuritis.

43. Designate the place of pierce and direction of needle at implementation of punction of pericardium in Larrey’s and Morfan’s points.

44. Designate the projection of cuts during the Fyesky’s operation.

45. Designate the projection of the cuts at intramammary mastitis in the upper-external quadrant of the mammary gland, retromammary mastitis of the mammary gland.

46. Designate the projection of the cut at anterior-lateral left-side intercostal torakotomy in the 4 intercostal space, longitudinal sternotomy.

47. Show the external reference points of the anterior-lateral abdomnal wall on the cadaver material (spina iliaca superior anterior, pubic tubercle, xiphoid process and etc).

48. Divide the the anterior-lateral abdomnal wall on the region and name them.

49. Designate the projections of cuts at longitudinal (vertical) laparotomy accesses, estimate dignities and failings.

50. Designate the projections of cuts at transversal (horizontal) laparotomy accesses, estimate dignities and failings.

51. Designate the projections of slanting (oblique) laparotomy cuts, estimate dignities and failings.

52. Represent scheme interintestinal anastomosis on a type «end-to-end», to estimate dignities and failings.

53. Represent schematically interintestinal anastomosis on a type «end-to-side», to estimate dignities and failings.

54. Represent schematically interintestinal anastomosis on a type «side-to-side», to estimate dignities and failings.

55. Represent the schematically – Lamber’s intestinal seam , to surround on

hemostatic, to impermeability, aseptic and influence on ability crossing

of hollow organ.

56. Represent schematically – Pyrogov’s intestinal seam, estimate on

hemostatic, to impermeability, aseptic and influence on ability crossing of

hollow organ..

57. Represent schematically – Schmieden’s intestinal seam, estimate on

hemostatic, to impermeability, aseptic and influence on ability crossing of

hollow organ.

58. Represent schematically- Mateshuk’s intestinal seam, to estimate on

hemostatic, to impermeability, aseptic and influence on ability crossing of

hollow organ.

59. Represent schematically –Albert’s intestinal seam, estimate on hemostatic, to

impermeability, aseptic and influence on ability crossing of hollow organ.

60. Represent schematically – Czerny’s intestinal seam, estimate on hemostatic,

to impermeability, aseptic and influence on ability crossing of hollow organ.
