PREFACE

The list of skills a medical specialist is displayed in its qualifying characteristics. According to this characteristic the specialists who receive a diploma in medicine "," medical prophylactic work "and" pediatrics ", should be able to exercise primary surgical treatment of wounds in different areas of the human body to perform hemostasis, perform intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous and some other manipulation. Operative Surgery provides topographic study of these activities. All doctors should be able to use external landmarks of the body (for literate data description of the objective examination of the patient, etc.) to anticipate the possible pathways of pathological processes that involve other complications for their timely escape.

To improve the quality of training is important scientifically-based organization of educational process. The main means of its implementation at the department of operative surgery and topographic anatomy is to develop guidelines for each topic that allows you to manage the preparation of students in the classroom and extracurricular stages with a focus on professional activities.

The collection contains methodological guidelines for students of third year of medical school, studying operative surgery and topographic anatomy (module number 2). For each topic, formulated its relevance, general and specific learning goals. For identifying and securing the source of knowledge, skills are appropriate goals, tasks to test the initial level and sources of information. Training content includes a list of theoretical questions, the Count of logical structure issues and sources of information. To verify the achievement of specific learning goals are sets of tests, format A with the standards of response. Tests are designed in such a way as to foster students' clinical thinking. For each theme, accompanied by a short methodological guidelines to work on a practical lesson. This book will help students to learn operative surgery and topographic anatomy, which would help reduce the risk of medical errors in their practice.

Developed guidelines for practical training in operative surgery and topographic anatomy, in turn, will contribute to the initial level of "knowledge-skills" for practical training at the departments of surgery, urology, trauma and others.

Module number 2: "Operative surgery and topographic anatomy of the lumbar region, retroperitoneum, pelvis, upper and lower extremities."

^ Objectives of the module number 2

The overall goal: to be able to interpret the features of topographic anatomy of the lumbar region, retroperitoneum, pelvis, and its walls, upper and lower extremities to support surgical interventions and medical skills.

Specific objectives:

1. Able to interpret the topographic anatomy of the lumbar region, retroperitoneum, pelvis, and its walls, upper and lower extremities.

2. Be able to denote the fluctuating terms, boundaries, and external benchmarks the upper and lower extremities, low back, buttocks and perineum.

3. Able to carry out the projection units and cuts on the upper and lower limbs, waist, buttocks and perineum.

4. Be able to justify the technique of surgical interventions and manipulations performed in the lumbar and gluteal region, the perineum, the upper and lower extremities, on the organs of the retroperitoneal space and pelvis.

5. Able to model the separation, compound fabrics, stop bleeding and manipulations performed in the lumbar and gluteal region, the perineum, the upper and lower extremities, on the organs of the retroperitoneal space and pelvis.

6. Able to recognize and assess vascular sutures, the sutures of the nerve and tendons.

1. Operative surgery and topographic anatomy of the lumbar region and retroperitoneum.

Relevance of the topic. Knowledge of operative surgery and topographic anatomy of the lumbar region and the retroperitoneal space allows us to solve complex problems of diagnosis and treatment of diseases 12-duodenum, pancreas, ascending and descending colon, kidney, adrenals, ureters, aorta, inferior vena cava, the sympathetic trunks, as well as to prevent various complications in surgical interventions on those organs and entities.

^ Learning Objectives

The overall goal: to be able to interpret the features of topographic anatomy of the lumbar region and the retroperitoneal space to determine the possible pathways of pathological processes and validation of surgical interventions and manipulations.

Specific objectives:

Initial level

"Knowledge-Skills"

Able to:

1. interpret the features of topographic anatomy of the lumbar region, and retroperitoneum;

2. to identify possible pathways of pathological processes in the lumbar region and retroperitoneum;

3. determine the projection of extraperitoneal approaches to the kidneys, to justify the principles of operations on the organs of the retroperitoneal space;

4. base and model perirenal blockade.

identify bodies and education retroperitoneal and lumbar region (Department of normal anatomy).
