Quote Kit No. 211-00144 when ordering. ^ SNA Server comes equipped with two database files that contain searchable lists of SNA Server and COMTI error messages and their explanations. These files can be found in the Docs\Msgdb folder on your SNA Server CD-ROM. SNA Server error message are located in the Snamsg.mdb file, and COMTI error messages are in the Comtimsg.mdb file. Both database files are viewable with Microsoft Access 7.0 or later. If you do not have access installed, use the DBView utility provided in the Docs\Msgdb folder. To install the database viewer, run DBView.exe. Once installed, you can use it to view the error message database. Note: The DBView utility is compatible with 32-bit versions of Windows only. APPC/LU6.2 Mainframe Configuration Worksheets The Docs\Wrkshts folder contains planning and configuration worksheets for APPC/LU 6.2 mainframe connections using SNA Server. Configuration worksheets are grouped into physical connection worksheets, 802.2 DLC, and environment worksheets, CICS or DB2. Completing a worksheet from the Docs\Wrkshts\Pu folder and a worksheet from the Docs\Wrkshts\Envrmnts folder will result in a complete configuration. These worksheets are also accessible from the APPC Mainframe Connection Wizard, which is provided on the Tools menu in SNA Server Manager. When printing the configuration worksheets, be sure to print each sheet in a monospaced font (most likely Courier) with an 80-column page width. Unpredictable page formatting may result if these print options are not configured. If you are experiencing print format problems, try reducing the font size or turning off the Word Wrap feature in your text editor.
