Host Institution

The contribution of the Scientific-research Institute of spiritual development of Man of the Volodymyr Dahl East-Ukrainian National University is 7 000 US$ (rent and use of computer equipment, creation of design-models, pre-publishing preparation, artistic design of original-models of publishing products, pre-project printing of the pilot specimen; methodical, (total or partial) technical support/maintenance for conducting trainings, seminars, workshops, creative meetings, scientific-and-culturological, art exhibitions, competitions, festivals, scientific presentations, research laboratories, conferences).

The contribution of the Volodymyr Dahl East-Ukrainian National University is 7 000 US$ (apartments rent, payments of communication services, rent and use of technical devices, equipment, laboratories, etc.).

Financial resource of scientific research projects (Code КПКВ 2201020 „Fundamental research in higher educational establishments”), drawn by Scientific-research Institute of Spiritual Development of Man of the Volodymyr Dahl East-Ukrainian National University in 2009, which has been expertised and approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine concerning financing within 2009 is 50 000 UAH (6 200 US $).

All the resources listed above are used for carrying out organizational and scientific research work, for realization of planed tasks, for conducting laboratory, practical, seminar classes and yearly projects.

^ The following courses have been developed and introduced:


  1. Title and expected results for each courses, workshop, etc.: «Spiritual development of man».

The aim of the discipline is to introduce the theoretical basis of spiritual development of man, modern scientific approaches to the understanding of human nature, its abilities, contents, main stages and ways of spiritual formation of a person.

Duration – academic year.

Target groups (cf. Annex 2) – full time and part time students, full time and part time undergraduates.

  1. Title and expected results for each courses, workshop, etc.:«Spiritual, professional and pedagogical culture of a lecturer».

The aim of the discipline is to acquaint future specialists with the spiritual sphere of social life, the essence of spiritual and professional culture of a pedagogue, moral and psychological peculiarities of pedagogical activity, conditions of sociocultural and professional formation of a pedagogue.

This course is integrative which involves the complex of knowledge of culturology, sociology, pedagogics and psychology of higher school.

Duration – academic year.

  1. Title and expected results for each courses, workshop, etc.:«Higher education and the Bologna Process».

The aim of the discipline is to acquaint future graduates with the basic principles of the creation of the European Higher Education Area, traditions of higher education in Europe, organization of higher education in European countries, documents signed within the Bologna Process, ways of modernization of the higher education in Ukraine according to the demands of the Bologna Process, mastering of ways and methods of their introduction into the higher education of Ukraine.

Duration – academic year.

  1. Title and expected results for each courses, workshop, etc.:«Innovation techniques of the organization of teaching and educational process at higher school».

The aim of the discipline is to arm undergraduates with the knowledge of basic pedagogical skills and techniques which are necessary for their effective and creative use in the conditions of the modernization of the national system of higher education in Ukraine.

Duration – academic year.

Target groups (cf. Annex 2) – full time and part time students, full time and part time undergraduates.

  1. Title and expected results for each courses, workshop, ect.:«Pedagogical skill and the image of a higher school teacher».

The aim of the discipline is to acquaint undergraduate students with the theoretical basis of the course “pedagogical skill and the image of a higher school teacher”, its goals, concepts and categories: “pedagogical skill”, “pedagogical technique”, “pedagogical culture and the image of a teacher”, “inner and outer image”, “pedagogical art”, “pedagogical creativity”, with methodology and methods of pedagogical research.

Culturological and personal and action-oriented approaches form the basis of the discipline. These approaches provide for the consideration of pedagogical problems in the context of the sociocultural situation. Education and upbringing are looked upon as constituent parts of the national culture and humanity. The programme has been developed with taking into account the principles of cultural relativity, unity of general and national values, person-oriented education.

Duration – academic year.

  1. Title and expected results for each courses, workshop, etc.:«Ethics and moral and legal responsibility of a higher school teacher».

The aim of the discipline is to acquaint undergraduate students with the subjects and the tasks of pedagogical ethics, its main categories, contents of moral culture of a pedagogue, the meaning of the definition “moral and legal responsibility of a pedagogue”, moral basis of professional activity of a higher school teacher, specific character of relations between moral and legal responsibilities in the pedagogical environment of higher school, main stages of formation of moral and legal responsibility of a higher school teacher, formation of student conscience of the importance of a pedagogue’s responsibility in the modernization of pedagogical process at higher school.

Duration – academic year.

  1. Title and expected results for training activity «Spiritual psychotherapy of Tamara Florens’ka» - spiritual perfection of a person.
