MODELING, DESIGNING, RESEARCH AND MODIFICATION OF THE VIBRATION TESTING ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT

The object of research is an output signal of the vibration testing equipment – vibration itself. Equipment vibration tests may not always be adequate because of deficiency in adjusting this equipment, deterioration of the material in case of using it for a long period of time, backlashes in the system etc. [1]. Those factors may lead to relative difference between the output and required input signals. Creation of an effectively functioning system of vibration testing electric equipment with adjustable error deviation of the original vibration signal from a given control signal is possible [2], in case of signal processing filter presence, which is accurately and correctly adjusted to the system and its requirements (type of the filter, order of the filter, cut-off frequency value and bandwidth). Using such filter it becomes possible to influence the system and change it the way it is required. For example: widen the size of cut-off frequency line and control signal’s attenuation.

By these means author of the article creates a lowpass Butterworth filter which would form the feedback of the system using a special algorithm of building a lowpass Butterworth filter, which, firstly, calculates the minimal possible order of the filter, that would answer the requirements and, secondly, makes a design of the filter, using the cut-off frequency and attenuation requirements.

Previously designed lowpass filter is also used to process polyharmonical signals in case if it is needed to separate one required harmonic from the others. The objective is resolved by following the selective attunement algorithm, which selects one needed harmonic and attenuates all the frequencies, except one which is used by needed harmonic.
