December 11, 2002 Official translation Decree of the President of Ukraine On the State Commission for Regulation of Markets of Financial Services of Ukraine According to subparagraph 15 of paragraph 1 of Article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine and to the Law of Ukraine on Financial Services and State Regulation of Markets of Financial Services, I have resolved: 1. The State Commission for Regulation of Markets of Financial Services of Ukraine, hereinafter referred to as the Commission, shall be established as a central executive authority having special status. 2. The Commission shall be a specially authorized executive authority in the field of regulation of financial services markets. 3. Chapter III of the Scheme of Organization and Interaction of Central Executive Authorities approved by the Decree of the President of Ukraine on Changes of the Structure of Central Executive Authorities dated 15 December 1999 #1573 (as amended by Decrees dated 23 October 2000 #1159, dated 5 December 2000 #1303, 29 September 2001 #907, 27 December 2001 #1265, 29 August 2002 #780 and 1 October 2002 #887) shall be supplemented by the following paragraph: "The State Commission for Regulation of Markets of Financial Services of Ukraine". 4. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine shall: submit within two months draft Regulations on the State Commission for Regulation of Markets of Financial Services of Ukraine according to the established procedure; approve the maximum number of staff of the Commission; decide on logistical support and accommodation of the Commission; decide, according to the established procedure, on financing of the Commission in the current year and make provision for budget allocations for the work of the Commission in draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2003 and successive years; adjust it decisions in accordance with this Decree; ensure that central executive authorities adjust their acts in accordance with this Decree. 5. The Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, oblast, Kyiv and Sevastopol city state administrations shall facilitate provision of necessary service premises to territorial divisions of the Commission.
